Public education is the first and most important step in preventing fires and other emergencies. The Local 5080 is committed to providing public education opportunities, including presentations at the station, schools, and businesses. We have educational materials available for families to teach their children about fire safety, and each year we host our annual Safety Day at Golden Fire Station 21.
For additional information or to set up an educational event, contact Jonathan Priestly.
Accidents happen- that's why our certified car seat technicians are available to check your car seats for proper fit and installation, keeping your children safe in the event of an accident. These appointments are free to the public. All you have to do is schedule it, then bring your car and car seat to Golden Fire Station 21. To schedule a car seat check, contact Jonathan Priestly or Kathleen (Katie) Quintana to set a date and time.
Station tours are an opportunity for you to see the tools we use on the job, how we live, and how we train. We value our relationship with the public, and welcome you to come visit our home! You can either stop by during normal business hours, or schedule a tour for a larger group. Contact Jonathan Priestly for more information or to schedule a tour.
