Public education is the first and most important step in preventing fires and other emergencies. The Local 5080 is committed to providing public education opportunities, including presentations at the station, schools, and businesses. We have educational materials available for families to teach their children about fire safety, and each year we host our annual Safety Day at Golden Fire Station 21.

Accidents happen- that's why our certified car seat technicians are available to check your car seats for proper fit and installation, keeping your children safe in the event of an accident. These appointments are free to the public. All you have to do is schedule it, then bring your car and car seat to Golden Fire Station 21. 

Station tours are an opportunity for you to see the tools we use on the job, how we live, and how we train. We value our relationship with the public, and welcome you to come visit our home!
